Join our innovative Payments Operations team, where you'll embrace the challenge and make a significant impact!
As an Associate within Payment Operations, you will define and analyze business flows related to the delivery of payment services, while contributing to test and project plans.
Job Responsibilities
- Exhibit a full knowledge and thorough understanding of the Payment operations functions
- Participate actively in change management, project management both bank / industry driven initiatives, represent operations in end to end support
- Work on automation project to create efficiency and reduce operation cost
- Support local working committee to comply with regulator such as HKMA, HKICL
- Demonstrate governance /supervision over Global Service Centre on outsourced activities.
- Perform regular review on Standard Operating Procedures in Payment Operations
- Ensure good control and compliance to corporate policies and regulatory requirements which are relevant to Operations
- Work on Business Continuity Plan coordination
- Maintain teamwork and healthy working environment
- Perform MIS reporting/financial management of local operating budget
- Provide day-to-day resolution of complex problems and the execution of complex transactions
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- University degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/ Business Administration
- Minimum 6 years in Bank Operations / project management role
- Understanding of and experience in local clearing, payments, deposit, liquidity , cash management, Faster Payment System
- Possess good people management and leadership skills
- Effective delegating, planning and time management skills to meet strict deadlines and team objectives
- Ability to identify opportunities and promptly initiate action and escalate potential risks to minimize operational & financial loss
- Ability to communicate proactively and openly with internal business partners and client to support business
- Demonstrate ability to implement and manage change
- Adaptability in maintaining best standards practice and adjusting effectively to work within new work structures, processes or requirements
- Implement technology as tools of automation to reduce manual work
- Attention to detail, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
