About The Role
This is not your typical sales role. As a Patient Engagement Specialist you’ll play a critical role in driving health and business outcomes through outbound calls, connecting with patients as their first interaction with our weight loss brands. Your goal? To make every patient feel uniquely supported before they even begin their journey with us, and to help them make the first decision to start.

You’ll help bridge the gap between technology and personal care, ensuring each patient feels heard, understood, and motivated to start their journey with us. Your role will directly impact patient success and satisfaction, and you’ll have the freedom to bring your ideas to the table and make a real impact on how we engage with patients.
You Are Expected To...
- Drive results by making outbound calls to patients, guiding them through the first steps of their journey, and converting calls into recurring patients.
- Simplify the complex; turning intricate healthcare details into clear, compelling conversations that help patients make informed decisions.
- Master the sales funnel; continuously optimising processes and refining your approach to boost conversions and scale our success across Australia.
- Be the voice of the patient; understand their needs, capture their feedback, and help shape improvements across product, eng, and growth teams.
- Collaborate across teams; work closely with growth marketing, doctors, nurses, and inbound support to ensure seamless patient experiences and improve our engagement.
About You
We’re looking for highly motivated, dynamic sales professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and have a passion for healthcare. You’re driven by targets and love the challenge of closing deals, but also understand the value of building meaningful, long-term relationships with patients. Here’s what we’re after:
- 2+ years of outbound or inbound sales experience particularly over the phone (healthcare experience a plus, but not required!).
- A proven track record of exceeding sales targets, optimising conversion rates, and capturing opportunities within customer funnels.
- Strong analytical skills; you understand sales metrics, funnels, conversion rates, and use data to drive decisions.
- A natural empathy and problem-solving ability, ensuring patients feel understood and cared for, no matter the conversation.
- Top-tier communication skills, with the ability to tailor your approach and tone to different patient personalities and needs.
- A drive for continuous learning and improvement; you want to be the best at what you do and are open to feedback to get there.
