Partnerdata – PDVertical Frontend Engineer/ Developer (f/m/x)

Job Description:

Our team is part of the area Technology, Data and Innovation (TDI) Private Bank. Within TDI, Partnerdata is the central client reference data system in Germany. As a core banking system, many banking processes and applications are integrated and communicate via >2k interfaces. From a technical perspective, we maintain critical functionality on the mainframe, but build new solutions (REST services, Angular frontend, Big Data and GCP solutions and more). Next to the maintenance and the implementation of new CTB requirements, the content focus also lies on the regulatory and tax topics surrounding a partner/ client. We are looking for a Lead engineer PD colleague to help us with day-to-day activities.

Your key responsibilities

• You will be working in a global environment with distributed delivery teams, proposing the technical design and architecture to meet the functionalities required by the business

• You will be accountable for the team’s effectiveness by coaching the delivery teams in modern engineering practices, striving to ensure that your team can build, test and release software with the short lead times and a minimum of waste

• Your will strive to contribute towards a culture of learning and continuous improvement within your team and beyond

• You will collaborate with other teams to build systems and integrate them together

• You will support and enforce automated unit/integration testing as a standard development practice

• You will ensure that the software built is reliable and easy to support in production

• You will be promoting a DevOps/SRE culture and modern toolchains to support continuous delivery.

• You will Support in defining and implementing clear standards and KPI’s for end-to-end software delivery.

Your skills and experience

• Several years of professional experience and expert in engineering role

• Excellent analytical and communication skills, strong independence and initiative, ability to work in agile delivery teams.

• A passion for constantly learning and applying new technologies in a constantly evolving web environment.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

• You bring in a wealth of knowhow in web frontend engineering with Angular or similar technologies, cloud architecture and technology in general.

• Experience on leading teams and mentoring developers.

• You have expert knowledge in architecture standards as well as in end-to-end software development life cycle.
