Partner Manager Lead
JOB SUMMARY
The Partner Manager Specialist is responsible for managing and overseeing key business partner relationships to ensure performance excellence across SPECIALIZED's product lines. This role works cross-functionally to align supplier strategies with SBC’s business goals, balancing performance, accountability, and sustainability. The Specialist drives continuous improvement, develops long-term strategies with partners, and ensures compliance with governance policies, supporting the implementation of sourcing solutions that prioritize quality, resiliency, and responsibility.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- Relationship Management: Act as the primary liaison with assigned suppliers, managing day-to-day interactions and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships.
- Performance Oversight: Drive accountability by regularly reviewing supplier performance in quality, delivery, and compliance for On Time Production to satisfy demand. Identify gaps and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including Supply Planning, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Project Management team, Design Engineering, Product team (bike & parts), Compliance, Logistics and Sourcing, to address issues and align supplier expectations.
- Strategic Development: Contribute to long-term partner strategies and continuous improvement initiatives that align with Specialized’s business goals.
- Action Planning and Issue Resolution: Develop and execute targeted action plans to address performance challenges, clearly outlining gaps, actions, and responsible parties for resolution.
WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in partner management, supply chain, or procurement.
- Industry Experience: Experience in the bike industry is a plus.
- Strong ability to synthesize information and present clear summaries of issues, including identifying gaps, recommended actions, and responsible parties.
- Proven cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working closely with teams in Supply Planning, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Logistics, and Sourcing.
- Familiarity with governance and compliance tracking.
- Personal Qualities: Dynamic and open-minded, with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a multicultural environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
LOCATION
Taichung-Taiwan, business travel to vendors when there is a need (Cambodia, Hochi-Minh-Vietnam, Shenzhen-China or Xiamen)
