Overview
Acting under the direction and guidance of the supervising attorney, primarily responsible for researching and assisting on various legal matters, preparing cases for court, representing the organization in court, and completing all post court work to include filing abstracts and any potential court remedies in a timely manner. Provide legal and administrative support to the attorneys and the department.
Education
- Associate Level Degree Paralegal or BLD
- or
- Bachelors Degree + 2 years relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
Certification/Licensure
- Paralegal Certification required within six months or hire
- No specific certification or licensure requirements
Experience
- 3 years experience as a Paralegal or
- equivalent in supportive Paralegal position with Law firm
- Healthcare/Medical Knowledge
- Knowledge of Subpoenas, Claims, Liabilities, Legal Procedures, Discovery
- Experience in administrative skills: deadlines, filing, communications, court schedules and deadlines, document management
We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$29.21 - $48.68Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
