WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a member of Optiver’s Global Legal team, you will report directly to the Group Head of Legal. Your primary focus will be on supporting the Optiver Holding and Optiver Europe Legal teams, both based in Amsterdam, while also collaborating with our Legal teams in APAC, UK and the US.
The Global Legal team covers a wide range of legal topics, and as Paralegal, you will focus on the following areas:
- Corporate Housekeeping – drafting resolutions and other corporate documentation, filing with the trade register;
- Shareholder Affairs – updating the shareholder register, processing corporate events, and interacting with shareholders;
- Document Management – maintaining the Legal Document Management System, arranging for signing and filing of documents, and handling contract administration;
- KYC – maintaining up-to-date know-your-customer documentation and responding to relevant requests.
WHO YOU ARE:
- 2+ years of experience as a paralegal with a background in corporate and/or company law, preferably within an international law firm or company
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, or Economics
- Proficient in MS 365 and Adobe Sign/DocuSign
- Flexible, detail-oriented, and accurate, with a structured, pragmatic, and proactive approach
- Results-driven, eager to learn, and open to diverse responsibilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English
- Team player with a good sense of humor
