What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Palantir Foundry Developer to join our rapidly growing Technology Solutions practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Palantir Foundry to address complex business challenges for our clients. You will work closely with clients, project managers, data scientists, and other developers to deliver high-quality, impactful solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of data modeling, data integration, and software development principles, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy data pipelines and workflows within Palantir Foundry.

Develop Ontology objects to manage and reason over data within Palantir Foundry
-
Configure and maintain data integrations from various source systems into Foundry.
-
Write efficient and maintainable code in languages such as Python, Java, and/or SQL.

Develop and maintain Foundry applications and workflows using Code Repositories.
-
Collaborate with data scientists and business users to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Perform data analysis and data quality checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data within Foundry.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for Foundry development.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Foundry applications and data pipelines.

Contribute to the development of training materials and documentation for Foundry users.

Stay up-to-date with the latest features and capabilities of Palantir Foundry.

Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Participate in project planning and estimation activities.

Work collaboratively within agile development methodologies.
What You Will Need:

An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED Secret Federal or DoD security clearance
-
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
-
SEVEN (7) or more years of professional experience in software development and data engineering.
-
Experience developing solutions with Palantir Foundry.
-
Strong understanding of data modeling principles and data warehousing concepts.
-
Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, or Scala.
-
Experience with SQL and relational databases.
-
Experience with data integration tools and techniques (e.g., ETL, data ingestion).
-
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Preferred Qualifications:

Palantir Foundry certifications (e.g., Foundry Developer, Foundry Data Engineer).

Experience with other Palantir products (e.g., Gotham, Apollo).

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
-
Experience working in a consulting environment.
-
Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g. Scrum).
-
Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
-
Experience with Ontology design.
-
Experience with Functions and Actions development.
-
Experience with data security and access control best practices.
