Opportunity snapshot
Member of the DevOps team with responsibility for supporting and building cloud platforms as well as CI/CD Pipelines within the Managed Services Space and internal Bluedoor Development Teams.
Role responsibilities

Maintain the existing CI/CD pipeline (Octopus Deploy, TeamCity, git/TFS, PowerShell)
-
Assess and build new capabilities in the cloud hosted environments
-
Design and implement new automation solutions using existing DevOps tools
-
Implementation of new pipelines
-
Implementation/Build of new Cloud Environments
-
Assist in Managing Projects through to completion with the Devops Manager/Supervisor
-
2nd level support for Devops Activites.
Experience
-
IT degree, or equivalent experience
-
5+ years experience working in a DevOps/Cloud Engineering/SRE role
-
Solid understanding of DevOps practices and methods
-
Solid understanding tech stack to include:

AWS
-
Terraform
-
PowerShell & Bash
-
Windows/Linux
-
Puppet
-
SaltStack
-
Containerization
-
VMWare
-
Databases (Postgres/MSSQL)
-
CI/CD Tools such as TeamCity, Octopus, GitHub Actions

Working knowledge of SDLC principles and methodologies

A passion for automating manual processes
