Huntsman Corporation’s GBS in Krakow is seeking a dynamic and experienced P2P Operations - Team Lead Procurement Operations to lead and manage our team within the operational purchasing department. This role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the procurement function, aligning with corporate guidelines, and acting as a crucial link between purchasing, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and product management.

Experience in a chemical, manufacturing, or production environment is highly preferred, as this role supports procurement processes critical to maintaining operational continuity in complex, technical, and regulated settings.

Role Responsibilities:

As a P2P Operations - Team Lead Procurement Operations, you will be responsible for:

  • Provide direct day-to-day management of the *Direct Purchasing Team* to ensure seamless operational performance.

  • Lead and develop resources, including mentoring, coaching, and conducting regular performance reviews to enhance team capabilities.

  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses to all queries.

  • Monitor procurement processes to assure high-quality performance, analyze trends, and implement improvements as needed.

  • Support the development and implementation of global procurement capabilities, processes, and Global Procurement Policy within the organization.

  • Act as a subject matter expert to assist team members in resolving process exceptions, supplier follow-ups, and requisition user exceptions.

  • Drive the implementation of new projects, functionalities, tools, and company-wide changes to enhance operational efficiency.

Experience and Competencies:

  • Proven experience in procurement operations or purchasing, preferably in a chemical industry, manufacturing, or production environment.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to manage complex purchasing processes.

  • Solid understanding of procurement systems, processes, and policies within a corporate environment.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP ECC Materials Management (MM) module is a must.

  • Effective communication skills to liaise with multiple departments and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to organizational changes and new implementations.
