This role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the procurement function, aligning with corporate guidelines, and acting as a crucial link between purchasing, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and product management.
Experience in a chemical, manufacturing, or production environment is highly preferred, as this role supports procurement processes critical to maintaining operational continuity in complex, technical, and regulated settings.

Role Responsibilities:
As a P2P Operations - Team Lead Procurement Operations, you will be responsible for:

Provide direct day-to-day management of the *Direct Purchasing Team* to ensure seamless operational performance.

Lead and develop resources, including mentoring, coaching, and conducting regular performance reviews to enhance team capabilities.

Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses to all queries.

Monitor procurement processes to assure high-quality performance, analyze trends, and implement improvements as needed.

Support the development and implementation of global procurement capabilities, processes, and Global Procurement Policy within the organization.

Act as a subject matter expert to assist team members in resolving process exceptions, supplier follow-ups, and requisition user exceptions.

Drive the implementation of new projects, functionalities, tools, and company-wide changes to enhance operational efficiency.

Proven experience in procurement operations or purchasing, preferably in a chemical industry, manufacturing, or production environment.

Solid understanding of procurement systems, processes, and policies within a corporate environment.

Hands-on experience with SAP ECC Materials Management (MM) module is a must.

Effective communication skills to liaise with multiple departments and external stakeholders.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to organizational changes and new implementations.
