About the role
The Outbound Sales Representative is the first point of contact for our prospective tenants. This role is responsible for generating and qualifying new leads that will drive sales, generate revenue and promote our collaboration space. This role requires a proactive-driven individual with excellent communication and networking skills, a strong understanding of the Chicago commercial real estate market, and a passion for helping businesses find the perfect workspace solutions. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about engaging in all aspects of outbound selling strategies including cold calling, emailing and social selling.
Lead Generation:
- Working with management, develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to attract new clients and achieve occupancy targets for both office spaces and event bookings.
- Actively identify and target potential customers through various channels including cold calling, networking, online platforms, industry events, and marketing to ensure a strong sales pipeline.
- Develop and execute an outreach strategy focused on key real estate brokerage firms. Build a robust network of local office brokers and manage the ongoing relationships.
- Remain persistent and resilient in the face of challenges or rejections. Learn from setbacks and continuously refine sales approaches.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new sales opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Qualify, nurture and handoff leads to the Director of Sales and Operations for closing. Consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
- Assist with conducting site tours displaying the unique features and benefits of the workspace.
Sales Process Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions utilizing TechNexus’ CRM.
- Support the front end of the sales process, from initial contact and needs assessment to site visits. Provide unmatched customer service to potential prospects to ensure an excellent start to their Teamworking experience.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations that effectively communicate the benefits and features of our office space rentals.
- Provide regular feedback and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on sales performance, marketing campaign results, and occupancy rates.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations throughout the sales process.
- Identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations to optimize strategies.

Educational and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales or a related field is preferred. 3-5 years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
- 2 - 3 years’ experience developing leads in the commercial real estate and/or office lease space or related hospitality industry with a proven history of success in achieving or exceeding sales goals.
- Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends as needed to meet customer schedules.
