About The Role
The Outbound Operations Lead is responsible for the same day Job Order shipments to production buildings, Tickets Transfers, without any delays.
The Lead is responsible for the coordination of work and training of associates within the department. This includes daily and short-term planning, the execution of tasks and organization of all work within the department. The operational matters are reviewed, adjusted, and improved where necessary. The Lead and ensures that the department's objectives, as determined by the management team, are achieved.
What You’ll Do
- Provides coordination of all work in the department.
- Follow-up on the Job order schedule from scheduling team based on the priority time.
- Responsible for goods transfer between shifts and to other departments.
- Assists with inventory discrepancy resolution with the inventor team.
- Review, verify and find the root cause of any quality issue reported from production and provide feedback to the team.
- Assists with KPI tracking and management
- Tracks attendance and ensures staff is proper leveled to support demand.
- Ensures that staff in the department are trained and have the right level of knowledge.
- Responsible for carrying out the quality and quantity of the Job Orders.
- Supports the team with knowledge of processes and in their optimization/standardization.
- Acts as an escalation tool to the supervisor and to assist
- Assists with the implementation of corrective/preventive actions
- Identifying bottlenecks and providing suggestions on policy and/or procedures and plans adjustments.
What You Bring
- Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- 2+ years of related warehouse experience
- Strong leadership experience preferred (overseeing 20-50 direct reports)
- Strong problem solving ability
- Highly detailed planning and organization ability, multitask, set own priorities and adapt to a changing environment.
- Advanced PC skills and proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication, written, and presentation skills.
