Here’s a summary of the role:
Join our dynamic Finance team as we expand our global footprint with a new Centre of Excellence (CENX) in Mexico! Building on the success of our established CENX locations in Mumbai and Bucharest, we're excited to strengthen our presence in the Americas and support YouGov’s growth.
As part of this team, you'll report to the O2C Assistant Manager and play a crucial role in managing client billing and accurate revenue recognition across our global network. You’ll be involved in various aspects of order-to-cash processes, including invoicing, collections, account receivables, and order management. Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with sales and operational teams to address unbilled or deferred revenue, ensuring a smooth and seamless client experience. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a growing team and make a significant impact on YouGov’s expansion in the region.
Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):
- Generate and process sales invoices based on purchase orders and other internal protocols.
- Manage customer portals and oversee the onboarding of new clients in line with the credit policy.
- Support both internal and external audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Assist in the collection of payments from clients, maintaining clear and effective communication.
- Focus primarily on the Americas region, with opportunities to contribute to global processes and support other regions as part of the CENX Team.
- Proactively suggest and implement enhancements to financial accounting controls and procedures.
These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:
- At least 3 years of experience in sales order and billing processes.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong service orientation.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to deliver results, meet deadlines/SLAs, and effectively prioritize tasks.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related disciplines.
It would be great if you had these to, but we’ll support you if you don’t:
- Team player with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, demonstrating resilience and tenacity
