Job Description

Experience supporting Oracle E-Business Suite/Federal Financials (GL, AP, PO, AR, FedAdmin). Implementing break/fix issues, and providing design, development, and support knowledge of RICEW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows). Oracle EBS Techno-Functional is responsible for the design & development of RICE-W in the Oracle Federal Financial modules. Support all technical activities and follow the processes outlined to follow CMMI Level3. Prepare design alternatives and design specification documents. Meet with the customer and manage the analysis through design and development phases related to Oracle modules. Produce all work products and deliverables with quality and on schedule.

- Design medium- to high-complexity technical solutions from a functional design specification

- Develop and adapt technical solutions/options into detailed technical design documents, complete with pseudo-code where appropriate, ensuring all functional requirements are met in the technical design 

- Ensure that all development standards are taken into consideration in the functional and technical design/solution phase

- Review technical designs with technical team, functional team and performance team (where appropriate) to ensure that solution is modular and has the appropriate level of scalability 

- Construct code based on a technical design, following all development standards

- Complete Build and Unit Test by deadlines assigned

- Perform/manage functional walkthroughs with developers and functional users to ensure completeness

- Ensure/review all code is well documented

- Develop and demonstrate functional and technical understanding of client's business processing in areas of assignment

- Analyze, design, code and implement changes to resolve break/fix issues to resolve and close tickets.

- Establish professional relationships and communicate effectively with both client personnel and team members, raising issues and providing suggestions where appropriate to resolve functional and technical issues 

- Systematically organize and complete detailed tasks


Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in Oracle Federal Financials R12 and Oracle databases
  • Strong in PL/SQL, Reports, Forms, BI Publisher, Alerts and Workflow development (customizations and extensions)
  • Ability to provide technical support for Oracle Federal Financial modules that include Fed Admin (FV), AP, AR, GL and PO
  • Monitoring and support of Production data interfaces between the core Oracle Federal Financials application and external federal systems pertaining to travel, contracts and procurement.
  • Experience with EDI Interfaces, using X12 standards
  • Strong technical knowledge of OA Framework development
  • Experience with shell/Perl scripting
  • Hands on Knowledge of SOAP and REST API Calls
  • Perform technical analysis of patches and open SRs with the product owner as required
  • Perform impact analysis of the product updates released periodically by the vendor
  • Strong knowledge of developing interfaces and conversion routines
  • Provide operational support in Oracle E-Business Suite Federal Financial Modules on a daily basis
  • Troubleshoot and resolve the technical issues reported by users in timely manner
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Preferred – experience with Contracts procurement system PRISM.
  • REST API / SOAP API experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
