Your responsibilities:
- Performance Tuning: Knowledge in PL/SQL performance tuning to optimize database performance,
- Data Management: Manage and maintain high volumes of data efficiently,
- Oracle Expertise: Understanding of Oracle internals and architecture (including database optimization),
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve database-related issues promptly,
- Taking care of capacity planning / backups / documentation / monitoring.
Infromation about the squad:
Together with the squad You will be working on a delivery of an Accounting Aptitude Hub to roll out a central accounting application across ING countries. This comes with challenges, like handling huge volumes of data—we’re currently generating 100 GB every day.
The squad you will be working is called The Aptitude Accounting Central Squad. It is responsible for improving and managing the product’s lifecycle. They ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new countries and handle data and capacity management, ETL processes, and configuration management improvements.
The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Engineer III”.
