Job Summary
This is a development role that targets employees wanting to develop continuous improvement skills, leadership skills in safety and food safety, oral presentation skills, soft skills (influence) with a focus on learning disciplined methods that allow teams to conduct safe operations every day. The methods are focused on continuous improvement, training, operational reliability, procedure development & task base risk assessments. Individual will gain a breadth of knowledge of systems to coordinate daily operations with Operations Specialist, Team Leads, and Trainers to better resource teams.
Base responsibilities for role include:
• Required to obtain MOC-P Operator1 Specialist within 18 months of placement in role (Learn all AutoPack Positions)
• Leadership – safety, food safety, operational methods
• Required to become TOT trained
• Assist with Training Packages, Procedure Reviews, Updates and Improvements
• Complete Job Cycle Checks and Refresher Training
• RCFAs (i.e. incidents, differences with NPI and Inventory)
• Assisting with RCP$-Operator Care
• Available for OT and flexible hours.
• Continuous Improvement (small improvements, assist/train operators to make one pagers)
• Basic Microsoft Skills (Word, Power point, excel) and SAP transaction skills
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Technical writing skills to develop equipment manuals or operating procedures throughout the Pryor site.
2. Work to develop and train performance requirements for site, knowledge tests, skills demonstration, Job cycle checks, task risk assessments, skills demonstration testing/assessments, task punch lists, and other core training responsibilities on specific tasks.
3. Ability to present topics in front of an audience
4. Acts as a key interface between areas of the site
5. Ability to qualify or disqualify individuals if assessment is not met
6. Measures training effectiveness
a. Conducts classroom and hands on skill demonstration, etc.
b. Validate competencies learned and track
c. Conducts assessments of the training process (i.e. JCC)
d. Develops and maintains metrics on training/ effectiveness
e. Partner with Training Specialist to create and upgrade training material as needed
f. Ensure standardization occurs where possible
g. Utilize 360 feedback
h. Open to feedback from organization on training skills
