We are looking for an operations specialist to manage the daily operations of a functional work stream. The operations specialist's responsibilities include managing day-to-day KPIs, ensuring the correct fulfillment of operations, identifying gaps and opportunities, performing a SWOT analysis, optimizing processes, overseeing the cross-functional operations team, providing analysis and detailed reporting with recommendations, and finally liaising with stakeholders.
To be successful as an operations specialist, you should be committed to improving operations, processes, and customer experiences and being able to ensure operational efficiency. Ultimately, a top-notch operations specialist should have excellent communication, and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and be data-driven and eager for process optimization.
What you will do!!
- Managing day-to-day operations depending on the assigned work stream.
- Optimizing operational processes and procedures for maximum efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
- Ensuring quality and efficiency are being maintained.
- Assisting with the implementation of new processes and procedures.
- Identifying ways to improve cross-functional collaboration and business excellence.
- Identifying ways to improve customer experiences.
- Identifying and flagging opportunities to improve processes and increase team effectiveness and productivity.
- Interacting with teams and stakeholders answering questions, and resolving issues.
- Tracking and reporting on operational performance.
- Provide weekly or monthly reports and business reviews based on needs and requirements.
- Maintaining policy and procedure documents.
- Be able to handle escalations and heated situations in a timely and efficient manner.
Who you are!!
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience as an operations specialist or in a similar role.
- Ability to analyze and improve operational processes.
- Strong people management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented and data-driven.
- Project management experience is a plus.
