Job Description

The Research Analyst position will assist in design, develop, and document processes to monitor and measure business performance. This staff member will collect and maintain performance metrics and recommend process improvements. The role will also provide technical assistance in company’s contracts examining data on subject matter. Staff will contribute to contract deliverables and presentation using database applications and analytical tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates with management to define and improve standards, processes, and procedures.
  • Maintains updated documentation of business processes and policies.
  • Prepares and provides performance-related presentations and reports.
  • Creates and develops initiatives to improve performance and productivity.
  • Provides accurate and appropriate interpretation of data, applying knowledge to evaluation, analysis, and interpretation of data.
  • Develops appropriate methodologies for collecting, analyzing, and presenting data products. Develops useful and insightful information from a variety of data sources.
  • Works with management and/or customers to develop and understand product specifications.
  • Communicates regularly and effectively with team members and management
  • Communicates results effectively to management and/or customers.
  • Delivers data products in report/presentation format, or verbally, to management and/or customer specifications and timelines.
  • Points out system or process problems when noticed and engages the team in problem solving.

Qualifications

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering fields (required)
  • Industrial Engineering or Operations Research degree (desired)
  • 3-5 years relevant experience in operations research beyond entry level (required)
  • Quality management experience (desired)
