About the role
As an Operations Program Manager, you’ll be integral in driving progress on some of our highest-priority company work. In this pivotal role, you will oversee two key areas. First, you’ll lead complex, highly cross-functional projects aligned with our top company priorities. Client growth will be the focus area, and we expect that the project management portion will extend beyond this area in the future as dictated by company priorities. Second, you’ll uplevel the processes that form our company-wide operating cadence and support our yearly strategic planning process.
Your work will include direct project management, creation & streamlining of project- and company-wide workflows, and building a toolset of program manager resources. You’ll collaborate closely with folks all over the company, including Product, Clinical Care, and Growth. We’re looking for a seasoned and nimble project manager, an excellent communicator, and a pro at driving clarity on complex and sometimes ambiguous decisions. Core Areas of Responsibility
Project Management (50%)
- Organize and lead cross-functional initiatives to drive progress on one of our highest-priority company goals.
- Manage and adjust the roadmap of work, requiring you to balance a deep alignment to existing strategic priorities with an ability to adapt plans based on an evolved understanding of the space.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders - including Product, Growth, and Marketing - to understand core problems to solve, drive clarity in decision-making, and keep our efforts on track.
Operating Cadence & Strategic Planning (40%)
- Create scalable and durable processes to track and report on company-wide objectives and key results (OKRs).
- Create a suite of structures to organize, manage, and share from our key operating meetings.
- Develop and implement a continuous improvement framework to assess & adapt our operating cadence’s effectiveness.
- Support our mid-year and end-of-year planning processes.
Up level Program Management Infrastructure (10%)
- Collaborate with your team, including other program managers, to develop and share project management resources and skill-building tactics.
Impact and Success Indicators
Where you’ll make an impact in the first 90 days:
- Learn the ins and outs of your first project space: client growth. This includes developing a deep understanding of our strategic plan and fully embedding yourself with the cross-functional team of product development, growth, and operations leaders.
- Develop a firm grasp of our company's operating cadence; identify and prioritize immediate opportunities to improve our reporting and effectiveness.
- Establish strong relationships with cross-functional partners and team members.
Where you’ll make an impact in the first year:
- Deliver on the roadmap for client growth - measured by hitting our referrals and client conversion rates goals.
- Develop and own all processes related to our operating cadence (OKR tracking & reporting, operating meeting efficacy & share-outs, adaptations to the processes).
We’re looking for someone with:
- Profound project management expertise: as evidenced by successfully leading multiple significant, cross-functional changes with profound organizational impact.
- Collaborative leadership and communication: You’ve effectively led and collaborated with teams across multiple areas of the business, you’re a pro at keeping a steady drumbeat of crisp communication with your stakeholders, and you’re able to garner buy-in on organizational changes.
- Structured critical thinking: You’re organized, goal-oriented, and able to develop creative solutions based on a clear understanding of the problem to solve.
- Process orientation: You strongly emphasize scalability, and based on data-driven insights, you can identify and improve ineffective workflows.
- Adaptability and empathy: You foster a strong, healthy environment for collaboration. You bring structure and clarity to teams and processes without being overly rigid, and you can easily pivot and adapt plans based on new information.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (preferred)
- PMP certification (preferred)
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this full-time, exempt role is $111,200 - $150,400. The final offer is dependent on qualifications and experience. New hires can reasonably expect an offer between $111,20 and $130,800.
