THE ROLE

As the head of operations, you'll be responsible for creating a great customer experience while keeping the warehouse organized, inventory accurate, and ensuring raw materials and finished goods are in stock. The warehouse is an active space that will keep you on your feet. The ideal candidate has great time management and is capable of working autonomously as well as with the team to hit and exceed weekly goals. You’ll interact directly with customers and be responsible for ensuring a positive experience across a wide variety of situations.

YOU WILL

  • Oversee shipping customer orders, processing returns & repairs, regularly counting stock levels and inventory, and managing ERP processes to ensure accuracy. You might occasionally pick/pack/package, but you'll primarily be managing the Operations Associate, improving processes and overseeing related systems.
  • Oversee customer support, encouraging the highest level of customer service across phone, email, and in-person. You might occasionally pick/pack/package, but you'll primarily be managing the Support Associate, reporting on trends, solving escalated issues, and overseeing related systems.
  • Report on trends across customer support, sales, shipping, inventory returns, and repairs.
  • Forecast finished goods and raw materials in order to create purchase orders, ensuring items are received accurately, labeled appropriately, and putaway correctly.
  • Coordinate with the manufacturing lead on forecasts, demand planning, and raw material timelines.
  • Encourage best practices for warehouse management, actively trying to improve current systems.
  • Create, manage, and ensure timely completion of regular cycle counts.
  • Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness.

YOU HAVE

  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Sheets/Data Studio to build reports/dashboards & derive insights
  • Advanced knowledge Shopify, Slack, Richpanel/Gorgias, and inventory/warehouse software (ie Netsuite//Fulfil.io)
  • Exceptional communication skills with both customers and coworkers
  • Drive, flexibility, and ability to thrive in a team environment
  • 4+ years in a warehouse and/or manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of shipping and warehousing best practices
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs
