What is this role?
As an Operations Manager at Cirkul, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our high-speed manufacturing facility. The role is crucial in ensuring efficient production processes, optimizing workflow, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The Operations Manager will lead a team of production managers, supervisors and operators, collaborating across departments to meet production goals and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
What does an average day look like?
Driving Results: Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure production targets are met. Implement strategies to improve productivity.
Taking Ownership: Lead initiatives to enhance operational excellence. Assume responsibility for the overall performance of the manufacturing operations.
Making Decisions: Lead issue resolution and troubleshooting efforts.
Cultivating Relationships: Collaborate with key stakeholders in other departments to develop and execute objectives.
Instilling Trust: Lead by example, demonstrating integrity and accountability in all operations.
Customer Focus: Ensure that production processes align with customer specifications and quality standards.
What background should you have?
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
- 5 years of experience in operations management or a similar role.
- Proven ability to implement operational strategy using continuous improvement principles.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in leading a department to consistently exceed operational objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
