Job Description
The Operations Manager Norway is accountable for all aspects of operational performance in Norway. The role will implement operational efficiency improvements, which may include, but are not limited to, customer satisfaction, safety, quality controls, system standardisation, site selection, facility design, and trade compliance.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

Lead the operations teams to support the growth objectives of our Norway business

Manage operations and supply chain activities for the site, while maintaining our global manufacturing principles and global compliance and safety standards

Create a vision and operating plan for the Norway site together with commercial and other stakeholders.

Translate the global/regional strategy into practical action plans

Be accountable for leading the operations & supply chain leadership team to deliver key objectives which includes but not limited to safety, service, quality, cost, operations efficiency, working capital, capex and trade compliance.

Successfully implement annual and long-term financial and business plans (financial, safety, service, organisation, inventory).

Demonstrate a professional leadership style, act as a role model in stimulating motivation & commitment among team members.

Drive execution of site improvement plans, help set operations improvement goals, ensure priorities and accountabilities are always clear within operations, provide resources and remove obstacles to ensure success.

Create an atmosphere which facilitates high levels of employee engagement, commitment and behaviours that mirror the Avery Dennison Values and principles.

Drive automation and innovative operational practices that promote efficiency and best practices.
Qualifications
-
7+ years Operations/Manufacturing experience managing large teams
-
Bachelor degree or above; Major in engineering, industrial management or related.

Experience in leading a diverse team in Plant Manager capacity
-
Experience in leading continuous improvement efforts. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Operating Principles.

Strong ability to manage, coach and develop a diverse team of individuals performing a variety of tasks.

Good organisational skills and communication at all levels and execution.
-
Excellent leadership skills. Ability to lead, contribute, and influence others in a team-based organisation.
-
Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, G Suite, and function specific software.
-
Organisational and people skills, with an ability to openly convey information to team members in a timely, concise manner.
-
Experience managing profit and loss at a site level
