Your role at Clorox:

The Operations Department Leader is responsible for overseeing and optimizing daily operations within the department, ensuring the seamless execution of activities in a 24/7 plant environment. This role emphasizes strong leadership in driving a culture of safety, quality, and operational efficiency while managing resources effectively to meet production goals and enhance overall performance. The leader will also foster continuous improvement initiatives, promoting a collaborative work environment and ensuring adherence to industry best practices.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the Operations Department, overseeing and coordinating all team members

• Oversee daily operations with a focus on safety, quality, cost control, raw material management, and customer service.

• Drive people development initiatives to enhance team performance and capabilities.

• Manage performance metrics, ensuring alignment with company objectives and operational targets.

• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to optimize operational efficiency. Direct resources effectively to support improvement initiatives and ensure successful execution.

• Provide leadership and guidance on project success criteria, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of product innovations, ensuring operational readiness.

• Support innovation initiatives by offering expertise and leadership on the operational implications and execution.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless coordination of operational activities, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.

What we look for:

• 2+ years of comprehensive operational experience, with a proven track record in driving manufacturing efficiency and excellence.

• Extensive experience in manufacturing operations, with a deep understanding of production processes, systems, and best practices.

• Prior experience in direct leadership and/or management, demonstrating the ability to lead teams and drive results within operational settings.

• Servant Leadership Focused

• In-depth operational and technical expertise, applying industry knowledge to streamline processes and enhance productivity.

• Exposure to World Class Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, Lean, or 6 sigma is Preferred

• BS/BA – Technical/Engineering, operations, or Business or equivalent experience Preferred

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $88,700 - $165,900

–Zone B: $81,300 - $152,100

–Zone C: $73,900 - $138,300
