We are looking for a Senior Operations Officers to join our global Operations Team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of APAC operations. The role will suit an individual who is self-motivated and who is able to adopt a methodical, logical, and creative approach to new challenge
Your future role at QRT:
- Your core responsibility is for the daily issue resolution for breaks and reconciliation queries for all of our funds
- Review daily cash, transactions and positions reconciliation
- Manage trade bookings and full trade life cycle of the positions
- Act as a focal point for resolution and operational issues with internal stakeholders
- Liaise with the Execution Brokers, Prime Brokers and Fund Administrators
- Participate in weekly and monthly deep dive calls with the Fund Admin to resolve outstanding breaks
Your present skillset:
- Degree in Engineering, Finance, or related disciplines
- 8+ years of relevant experience in the Finance industry
- Previous experience in Buy Side would be a plus
- Experience leading ad-hoc projects from start to finish
- Excellent product knowledge on Bonds, IRS, FX, Options, Equities, Futures
- Experience in process improvement for reduction of errors and efficiency
- Self-motivated with positive and proactive mindset
- Excellent communication skills
