We are looking for an Operations Associate I to join our team.
As a uniquely qualified candidate, you will:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Perform simple and routine manufacturing equipment maintenance tasks.
• Knowledgeable on checking status of your certification for the assigned workstation by using posted Training Records or Electronic Training Module.
• Read, follow, and train to WI, EOPs in the maintenance of production equipment.
• Work at different workstations as production needs require.
• Meet productivity and quality goals while maintaining line balance.
• Perform self-inspection on all process steps.
• Maintain clean and orderly workstation.
• Properly completes manufacturing documentation.
• Communicate problems to supervisor or lead.
• Communicate the need for production operating supplies.
• Participate in improvement activities related to process or safety.
• Complete required basic production, health, safety and environmental hazard training courses.
• Follow all corporate, safety and production standard operating procedures.
• Responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with all Federal, State, local and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent, and 0 to 2 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Ability to work varying shifts and overtime hours when required. Ability to read, write and understand English. Must have ability to complete training courses. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to use and read measuring devices, i.e., rulers, calipers, micrometers, reticules, thermometers, gauges, etc. Understands and can apply regulatory (QSR, ISO) requirements in everyday activities.
