Spot & Tango is an innovative pet health & wellness brand that delivers personalized meal plans on a subscription basis. Our recipes are developed by leading animal nutritionists, and are made with only real, fresh ingredients... and nothing artificial! We have lofty goals (to make every dog in the country healthier, and every pet parent happier!) and we are looking for the right people to help us get there. Who You Are
You are an analytical problem solver looking for an environment where your work makes a high impact and drives action. You are detail-oriented and enjoy working with numbers. You are comfortable in Excel and have experience building complex models. You enjoy learning about and applying your skills to new topics frequently. You are able to analyze data, synthesize your findings, and communicate insights to key stakeholders. You are able to collaborate effectively with both internal teammates and external partners to troubleshoot issues. You enjoy working cross functionally to solve critical business challenges. You are excited about diving into the supply chain and logistics of a fast-growing consumer products startup.
Responsibilities:
- Build and continuously improve dashboards to provide ongoing visibility of fulfillment and last-mile cost centers across key dimensions, working with stakeholders across the business to refine the dashboards
- Conduct standalone analyses using dashboard data to forecast impacts of cross-functional initiatives and inform strategic decisions
- Stand up systems to develop and monitor freight efficiency KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with the operations team to translate insights into actionable steps and ensure improvements are implemented
- Analyze manufacturing batch data alongside customer data and feedback to generate insights that can be used to inform R&D or improvements to manufacturing processes
- Conduct scenario analysis and build models to inform strategic business decisions regarding the logistics and manufacturing network, working closely with internal and external partners to gather data and other inputs necessary
- Synthesize trends and findings from analysis to key executive stakeholders, building appropriate visualizations and providing recommendation for action items
- Collaborate with the finance team on regular audits of financial and operational data to ensure accurate billing and reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree; business or STEM field preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in an operations, strategy, analyst, or consulting role
- Comfortable building models in Excel
- Experience analyzing large datasets in SQL, R, or Python a plus
- Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) a plus
- Exceptional problem solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Dog lovers a plus!
This is a hybrid position. You must be able to commute into our office in Midtown Manhattan Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Hybrid Workspace
Employees engage in a combination of remote and on-site work.
Our hybrid policy requires employees to work in-person at our New York office Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Employees are able to work from home on Tuesday and Friday.
