The Operational Risk Reporting Manager is a key member of the Operational Risk department in the Enterprise Risk Division and will report to a Senior Manager. The role requires working across the department and division to support Operational Risk with risk management governance, oversight activities, and audit and exam preparation.

Our Impact:
The team works across the department and division to support risk management governance, oversight activities, and audit and exam preparation. The team establishes professional practices to streamline documentation related to oversight and governs the system of record for oversight. The team is responsible for reporting material operational risks routinely to management and the board and facilitates audits & exams specific to Operational Risk.
Your Impact:

Evaluate oversight results and conclusions, including effective challenges and reporting, for adequacy and consistency across the department

Assess Operational Risk implementation and execution of risk management practices against regulatory and corporate requirements

Synthesize data and information and collaborate with subject matter experts across Operational Risk to identify opportunities for enhancement and develop recommendations

Ensure the department is adequately prepared for audits and exams, maintains the appropriate documentation, and responds to audit and exam requests in a coherent and timely manner

Report the department audit/exam status and co-facilitate quarterly division audit/exam forum

Build positive relationships across the three lines and participate in productive risk discussions

Support other projects as assigned
Qualifications:
-
College Degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred
-
Typically has 8-10 years related experience and 2+ years management experience
-
8+ years of experience overall, with 5+ years related to operational risk, compliance, or internal audit
-
Experience with influencing others, including at the executive level, and bringing people together towards a common goal
-
Experience in the secondary mortgage market or mortgage lending is preferred but not required

Ability to address problems and articulate complex concepts

1 or more certifications (CIA, CPA, CFA, FRM, or CISA) preferred but not required

Understanding of regulatory requirements and expectations related to risk management preferred

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $126,000 - $190,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
