Operational Engr II
Job Description Summary
You will develop and maintain various aspects of the Software Test and Test Engineering functions within the company, covering a broad range of products and technologies. This position will involve writing test cases, systems support, configuration management and supporting DevOps operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the use and management of tools & processes to promote Continuous Delivery/ Continuous Integration for applications.
- Support creation and automation of build and release processes for multiple environments and products
- Support the Containerization of product.
- Software testing of products (functional, system, regression, performance, load, build validation, scheduling, etc)
- Development and maintenance of automated test cases for both front-end and server side.
- Creation and maintenance of a library/database of test related documentation and tools.
- Monitoring, reporting and contributing to the ongoing improvement of all aspects of software quality, design and delivery
- Development and maintenance of all aspects of test environments
- Adoption and/or design and creation of appropriate software test tools
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience as in a Unix-based DevOps environment
Desirable Experience / Skills
- Azure DevOps
- Experience with Podman and/or Docker
- Linux, Linux Administration
- Scripting/coding experience – Javascript, Python, Bash
- Build and deploy tools (Git, SVN, Jenkins)
- Scrum Agile Tools and processes such as Jira
- Test Automation
