Role Overview
We’re looking for a highly skilled Office and Operations Manager to join our team in New York. In this role, you’ll ensure the smooth running of our office, manage day-to-day operations, and create a productive environment for our employees. You'll oversee key responsibilities such as managing vendor relationships, coordinating office events, streamlining processes, and supporting employee onboarding. Additionally, you’ll act as the point of contact for operational needs, while driving initiatives to enhance efficiency and foster a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient work environment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for office vendors, supplies, and facility maintenance.
- Oversee and coordinate employee onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience by managing workspace setup, equipment distribution, and introductions to office policies and team members.
- Develop and implement administrative processes to support company growth.
- Oversee executive scheduling, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination.
- Lead event planning for office gatherings, team-building activities, and celebrations.
- Manage office moves, ensuring minimal disruption and smooth transitions.
- Coordinate with HR and IT to onboard new employees and maintain office systems.
- Track office budgets, expenses, and vendor payments.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in office management, operations, or administrative roles, ideally within a fast-paced tech or startup environment.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a highly dynamic and changing environment.
- Experience managing budgets, tracking expenses, and optimising operational costs to support business goals. Experience with Financial ERP Systems - Advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and liaise with external partners.
- Experience planning and managing internal office events and supporting employees across various departments, fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
