Why be an Office Manager at THG - NYC?

We are looking for a well organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our New York City office.

This position requires 4 days per week in the office. The Office Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of office functions, supporting staff, and maintaining a productive work environment.

As an Office Manager, you'll:

  • Manage the office’s daily functions, including office supplies, equipment, and facilities
  • Liaise with external vendors (e.g., cleaning, catering, building maintenance) to ensure smooth office operation
  • Assist staff with their office needs, setting up events, and supporting various departmental requests
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail
  • Provide administrative assistance as needed
  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Assist in the onboarding of new employees, including setting up workstations, and facilitate offboarding processes when necessary
  • Track office-related expenses and help with budget reporting
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth inter-departmental coordination and communication
  • Event Coordination: Organize in-office events, meetings, and team-building activities. Support all aspects of brand management and the execution of marketing programs from concept to go-to-market strategies, including briefing, seeding, influencer relations, content and collateral

What skills & experience do I need for this role?

  • 2-3 years of experience in office management or similar administrative roles.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office management tools
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience managing office logistics, supplies, and vendor relationships a plus
  • Preferred:
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
    • Experience in a fast-paced or tech-oriented environment
