Job Title: OEM/ODM Business Development Director
Location: Taiwan or Singapore (Preferred)
Language Requirement: Fluent in English and Chinese-Mandarin (Native speaker preferred)

As we expand our global footprint, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic OEM/ODM Business Development Manager to help drive the growth of our strategic partnerships in the Asia region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnership Definition & Development: Lead the identification, negotiation, and development of strategic OEM/ODM partnerships in the Asia market, with a focus on creating new business opportunities for VAST Data’s industry-leading storage solutions.
- Joint Offering Launch: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to define and launch joint offerings that leverage VAST Data’s storage solutions, ensuring alignment with market needs and customer demands.
- Go-To-Market Strategy (GTM): Own and execute joint go-to-market strategies with VAST Data’s partners, including lead generation, demand generation, and pipeline development. Work closely with the sales, product, and marketing teams to create impactful campaigns that drive new business opportunities.
- Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline with partners, ensuring consistent progress towards meeting sales targets and business objectives. Monitor key performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to maximize success.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with VAST Data’s product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure that product strategy, messaging, and partner enablement are aligned for successful execution of joint initiatives.
- Market Insights: Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics in the storage and data management sector. Provide insights that help refine partnership and business development strategies for the region.
- Travel: Anticipate travel as required, mostly within the Asia region, with occasional travel to other regions as needed.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in OEM/ODM business development, partner management, or a related field.
- Proven track record in managing and growing successful strategic partnerships, particularly in the Asia market.
- Strong knowledge of the OEM/ODM ecosystem, including product development cycles, manufacturing, and go-to-market strategies.
- Fluent in Mandarin (native speaker preferred), with excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
- Strong business acumen and ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-driven approach.
- Willingness to travel as required, mostly within Asia, with occasional travel to other regions.
