A Day in the Life

As Neuroscience Sales Intern at Medtronic, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge robotics and capital equipment. You will gain hands on experience working alongside our high-performing team supporting the healthcare sector in UAE making a meaningful impact on patients’ lives while building a strong foundation for a career in medical field. Internship details:

  • Start date: June
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Working hours: 40 h/week with flexibility (exams and holiday period)
  • Working model: hybrid (at least 3 days in the office)
  • Location: Dubai

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Organizing and facilitating interactive workshops
  • Supporting the technical team inside operating theatres
  • Analyzing complex challenges and collaborating with managers to design impactful solutions.
  • Implementing innovative strategies and solutions while working closely with cross-functional teams
  • Researching and evaluating competitor marketing and digital content to stay ahead in the industry
  • Designing and implementing new digital marketing campaigns to drive engagement
  • Assisting with project development, coordination, and implementation, gaining first-hand experience in healthcare business operations

Required knowledge and experience

  • Recent graduate or in the final year of studies in Healthcare, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic, with strong verbal & written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Interest in attending cases in the Operating Room (OR) and gaining firsthand experience in real-world healthcare applications.
