Network/Infrastructure Engineer – Edison, NJ and unanticipated sites throughout US
Description:
- Responsible for design, assembly, and troubleshooting technology solutions related to the infrastructure (network, telecommunication, database, desktop server, storage, software).
- Define, develop, and maintain procedures; analyze and implement new processes and techniques.
- Analyze and revise existing system logic and documentation.
- Design tailored solutions to meet a specific need or business unit request.
- Provide effective production support including accurate problem identification, ticket documentation and customer/vendor dialogue.
- Lead medium to large-scale projects and deliver presentations.
- Anticipate problems, drive root cause analysis and analyze ways to mitigate risk.
- Solve complex situations by dissecting problems and focusing on critical technology tasks.
- Recommend process improvements that require a high degree of technical mastery.
- Act as SME (Subject Matter Expert) and consult peers and colleagues on tactical problems.
- Articulate business value and impact of technical and non-technical information.
Requirements:
- Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology or Digital Sciences.
- 6 months experience in job offered or 6 months experience as Network Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Telecommunications Engineer or related occupation.
