Description
Graham Capital Management, L.P. is seeking a Network Engineer to join our Technology-Infrastructure group who will report to the Team Lead of Network Engineering. The ideal candidate possesses relevant experience and skillset in data, voice, and cybersecurity.
Responsibilities
- Manage Cisco firewalls, routers, Ethernet and SAN switches.
- Manage Palo Alto firewalls, review logs, and troubleshoot connectivity.
- Manage Cisco Call Manager and related applications, including Webex integration.
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues, including LAN, VoIP and circuits.
- Install and/or upgrade equipment outside normal business hours.
- Manage other voice/network/security related systems.
- Communicate with IT staff and end users to resolve issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- 4+ years of industry experience.
- Experience implementing and supporting a variety of network technologies, with an emphasis on Cisco and Palo Alto, as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience with Telcos for installs and troubleshooting circuits.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience dealing with vendor support to successfully resolve issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interface with end-users to understand their issues and needs.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, with ability to independently solve problems and effectively manage time.
- (Preferred) Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine, Multi-Factor Authentication and SAML, Mobile Device Management, and cloud vendors, particularly AWS.
- (Preferred) Ability to understand how the network interacts with other IT systems.
- (Preferred) Previous experience working at an MSP or Financial Firm.
Our current hybrid work arrangement requires that all employees commute into our office Mondays through Thursdays, with the option to work remotely on Fridays. This individual may be required to work outside normal business hours to install and/or upgrade equipment.
Base Salary Range
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $160,000. The anticipated range is based on information as of the time this post was generated. The applicable annual base salary or hourly rate paid to a successful applicant will be determined based on multiple factors, including without limitation the nature and extent of prior experience, skills, and qualifications.
Base salary or rate does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
