Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of our current on-prem and cloud-based infrastructure with a focus on resiliency and high-availability.
  • Promote “continuous improvement” of our network infrastructure.
  • Promote IAC (Infrastructure as code) and DevOps best practices for automation and scalability of our network infrastructure.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex incidents including post-mortem tasks to avoid recurrence.
  • Analysis of network usage, growth patterns, and capacity planning for future infrastructure decisions.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, developers, architects, and managers from different locations and ensure timely deliverables.
  • Ensure the level 2 and if applicable level 3 support for changes, requests and incidents in production environments and provide adequate response with possibility to participate in the on-call 24/7 support.


Requirements:

  • 3+ years in Network Engineering role
  • Switching (Cisco Nexus and Catalyst)
  • Wifi Infrastructure
  • Routing (BGP)
  • Firewall (Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Forcepoint)
  • Load Balancing (F5, HAProxy)
  • Azure Architecture (hub and spoke)
  • Able to work with autonomy, proactivity, leadership, ownership, coordination, and continuous improvement.
  • Good presentation with excellent communication skills (written, listening and speaking), culture centred attitude, teamwork and highly motivated.
  • English (fluent mandatory)


Additional assets/preferable skills:

  • Degree in Computer Engineering or Similar
  • Experience with Cloud environments (Preferably Azure)
  • Experience with Terraform
  • Experience working withing an AGILE methodology
