Overview
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with a specialization in cloud technologies, including AWS, Azure, and Cloudflare. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based network infrastructures. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our cloud networking environments, while also providing support for hybrid cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Implementation:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud networking solutions across AWS, Azure, and Cloudflare platforms.
- Collaborate with cloud architects and IT teams to integrate cloud networking solutions with on-premises infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline network deployment and management processes.
- Manage and optimize cloud-based networking components including VPCs, subnets, routing tables, VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues to ensure optimal uptime and performance.
- Implement and manage DNS configurations using Cloudflare, ensuring high availability and security of domain resources.
- Implement and maintain security best practices for cloud networking, including network segmentation, encryption, and access controls.
- Work closely with the security team to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Regularly conduct security audits and implement necessary changes to ensure robust protection against threats. –
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support for network-related issues in cloud environments.
- Assist in incident response and root cause analysis for network outages and performance degradation.
- Collaborate with cloud providers’ technical support for advanced troubleshooting and optimization.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including architecture diagrams, SOPs, and configuration records.
- Provide training and support to other IT staff and departments on cloud networking best practices and solutions. - Stay updated with the latest developments in cloud networking technologies and share knowledge with the team.
Qualifications:
Education & Certification:
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate, and Cloudflare Certified Partner are highly desirable.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years focused on cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Cloudflare).
- Proven experience in designing and managing cloud-native and hybrid cloud network infrastructures.
- Experience with multi-cloud environments and cloud migration projects.
- Familiarity with SD-WAN and other modern networking technologies.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines as they relate to network operations.
Skills:
- Expertise in AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Networks, and Cloudflare services.
- Proficient in network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) and security technologies (firewalls, VPNs, IPS/IDS).
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation of network tasks.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure ARM templates.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
