Coretek is seeking a Networking Consultant to join our team. This position is the opportunity for a great Network and Data Center Consultant to take their Architecture and Implementation skills and integrate them with the Cloud, specifically Azure. Coretek is one of the leading Azure consulting organizations in the world. The candidate will need experience architecting and implementing Palo Alto, Azure Firewall, Fortinet, and other security and networking solutions in MS Azure.

Working Hours - US Shift


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

Design, architect and implement overall network and security solutions for customers, including development of solution designs, implementation plans and documentation. 

  • Consistently demonstrate professional Consulting and Communications skills.
  • Determine detailed customer requirements. Understand the customer’s “why.” 
  • Plan and design secure and scalable network architectures to meet customer needs.
  • Implement designed network and security solutions, ensuring smooth and efficient deployment.
  • Validate and test implemented solutions to confirm functionality and security.
  • Document all aspects of the network and security solution for future reference and knowledge transfer.
  • Transfer knowledge to internal teams and customers to ensure successful ongoing management of the solution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network and security issues to maintain optimal system performance.
  • Provide ongoing support to customers for their network and security solutions. 
  • Develop implementation plans that can be executed by other team members performing the build aspects of the engagement. 


Additional responsibilities may include: 

  • Assist in review of designs with manufacturers in their technical discipline(s). 
  • Assist in developing SOWs (Statements of Work) or technical scope of large SOWs. 
  • Providing accurate services Level of Effort scoping using CORETEK’s LOE tool. 
  • Verify accuracy of parts list against project requirements. 
  • Update and improve Coretek Defined Standards and templates. 


TECHNICAL BACKGROUND & CAPABILITIES REQUIREMENTS 


Networking and Network Security 

Candidate should have a minimum of 3 years’ consulting experience in various LAN, MAN, and WAN architectures; troubleshooting, architecting, and building solutions with a security mindset. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of a variety of networking methodologies and deep technical expertise in networking, load balancing, and security on-premise, Cloud, and hybrid. The ideal candidate can Design, Lead Implementation, and Support these products and technologies: 


Palo Alto: Azure Deployment, On-Prem Deployment, VPN, Proxy, SSL Decryption, Dynamic Routing, URL Filtering, WildFire, File and Data Filtering, DNS Security, AutoFocus, Iron Skillet, Global Protect, Threat Protection Customization, Panorama 

Citrix NetScaler: VPX, MPX, SDX, GSLB, nFactor Auth, Content Switching, Gateway Services, EPA/Advanced Policies 

Enterprise Networking: Routing, Switching, Wireless and Firewall on mainstream enterprise platforms such as Arista, Cisco, and Meraki 

Azure:  Networking, WAF, Front Door, Private Link, Express Route


Delivering via Automation and IaC 

Well-qualified candidates will have experience deploying cloud-based networking and security solutions via IaC. This includes leveraging provided modules, scripts and pipelines and ideally the ability to edit and refactor existing code. Applicable products and platforms include Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, Packer, and PowerShell.

Nutanix Clusters, VMWare ESXi, VMWare Horizon, AWS Infrastructure, GCP

Candidates with active certifications directly related to the technologies and products found in this job description will be at an advantage during the selection process.


ADDITIONAL DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or relevant experience and accomplishments.
