KBR is looking to add a Network Administrator (Top Secret Clearance Required) to our team to provide RDT&E environment support to our DOD customers in Patuxent River, MD.   This is a full-time on-site position. This position offers a CWS/Flex Schedule. Core working hours: M-F, 8-3 pm EST.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide application support to the Network Infrastructure, Private Cloud, and RDT&E environment.  Install, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers.  Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems
  •  Review System and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups.  Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access.  Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses.
  •  Perform network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.  Implement and maintain DoD security measures and provide artifacts to maintain system accreditation

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Citizenship & Clearance: Must be a US Citizen. ​ Must have an active Top Secret Clearance.

Certification: CompTIA Security + CE

Education + Experience (+substitutions):

  • BS/BA & 3+ years of relevant work experience in related infrastructure, operating systems, system administration work, which includes experience with Switches, VLANs, and STIGs is a must.

  • OR AA/AS degree & 7 years of relevant work experience in related infrastructure, operating systems, system administration work, which includes experience with Switches, VLANs, and STIGs is a must.
  • OR High School Diploma or GED and 9 years of relevant work experience in related infrastructure, operating systems, system administration work, which includes experience with Switches, VLANs, and STIGs is a must.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week.

Compensation: $99,000- $140,000. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
