Day in the Life of a NetSuite Technical Architect
The role of the NetSuite Technical Architect is to partner with internal delivery teams to utilize their revenue recognition and full Quote-to-Revenue expertise to demonstrate the value of Neocol's NetSuite practice. The resource will be responsible for leading the NetSuite stream within projects through requirements gathering, solution design, build and deployment of the final solution for our subscription based clients. 

You will drive developing complex designs, helping our clients make architectural decisions, and guiding them through the development and adoption of their new system as it relates to NetSuite. Services will be related to deploying and contributing to the ARM Connector IP as well as assisting with NetSuite services such as installing tax bundles, connecting integrations, and developing via SuiteScript.

Project Implementation Leadership & Support:

• Collaborate with project teams to lead Advisory, Analysis & Design, Build, UAT and Go-Live activities for NetSuite projects
• Meeting with clients to understand their NetSuite policies and procedures and document requirements for the implementation of the NetSuite features
• Configuring the system to reflect the client's NetSuite requirements
• Develop and customize NetSuite workflows, SuiteScripts, and SuiteTalk integrations to meet business requirements, with a strong focus on the technology and subscription billing industry
• Develop technical architecture and code specifications to use in the event of needing deeper customization than out of the box functionality
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements for system enhancements and translate into technical design and build
• Design and implement NetSuite customizations, including forms, fields, records, and dashboards 
• Perform testing and debugging of NetSuite scripts and integrations to ensure accurate and efficient system performance
• Work on existing and new NetSuite projects delivering Neocol’s ARM Connector

Presales & Scoping Support:

Sales & Pre-Sales Collaboration: Partner with Sales Directors and Solutions Consultants to support sales pursuits, defining solution approaches, estimating implementation efforts, and presenting technical recommendations to prospects and clientsIntegration & Best Practices: Define best practices for integrating NetSuite ARM with Salesforce Revenue Cloud to support the Lead-to-Revenue processing conversations in Sales cyclesThought Leadership & Enablement: Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for NetSuite and NetSuite ARM, staying up to date on industry trends, advising clients on optimization strategies, and enabling internal teams on best practices and implementation methodologies

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a technical role focusing on NetSuite
• Experience in at least three medium to large-scale full-lifecycle NetSuite implementations as a Solution Architect
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a NetSuite Developer, with a strong focus on the Order to Cash flow
• Strong proficiency in SuiteScript 2.0/2.1 and SuiteTalk for NetSuite customization and integration.
• Extensive experience developing and maintaining SuiteScript workflows, User Event scripts, Suitelets, and RESTlets
• In-depth knowledge of SuiteBuilder and SuiteFlow for customizing forms, fields, records, and workflows, particularly
• Must be highly organized with the ability to manage and prioritize while simultaneously working both collaboratively as well as independently
• Ability to understand varying client needs and respond flexibly and creatively
• Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical resources
• Comfortable analyzing data and identifying opportunities to drive meaningful standardization of data and processes regionally and/or globally
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to translate technical subject matter to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields 
• NetSuite ERP Consultant and/or NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer Certifications preferred
• Experience with Subscription/SaaS Based Industry
• Experience with Salesforce Revenue Cloud, CPQ or Billing
• Experience with Subscription Billing such as SuiteBilling, ZoneBilling or other
• Experience using Jira, Slack, Google Suite & LucidChart
