NAWSCL P1911 Material Planner

Job Description
Become a Material Planner in the premier global leader of defense contracting, BAE Systems. You will help
plan, schedule, and manage the efficient movement of material from BAE Systems' Mojave, CA facility to various locations aboard North Range, Naval Air Weapons Station, China Lake, CA. You will assist in the development of C4 material list and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications for forward movement to China Lake Ranges. Will use Costpoint and other material tracking applications as required. Will also aid in the scheduling of various test systems for kitting, cyber preparation, installation, and testing across China Lake Ranges. Will occasionally escort government, contractor, and vendors throughout the RCC complex. May occasionally visit the BAE Systems Mojave, CA facility for meetings and will provide support to the BAE Systems on-site Project Manager and Senior Engineer as required.
This position is located in China Lake. There is no relocation assistance available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to China Lake or surrounding areas.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- In-depth knowledge of P1911 Earthquake Recovery Military Construction efforts as it relates to the Range Control Center (RCC) complex
- Ability to work with various China Lake Ranges government Subject Matter Experts as it relates to the systems and sub-systems that support the RCC
- High school diploma and at least 6 years of related experience
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Ability to learn several material tracking applications/tools
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $66084 - $112343
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
