Naval Tactical and Simulation Systems Operator

Amentum is seeking an operator with experience in tactical systems such as Aegis, Aegis BMD, SSDS, LCS, or USW and 6 years of Naval tactical and simulation systems Operations and Maintenance (O&M) experience. The position is for third shift operations from Sunday through Thursday (10pm to 6am).

You will be part of our growing systems & software engineering team and contribute to our diverse skillsets across multiple contracts in support of our Centers of Excellence. Successful candidates must possess excellent communication skills and interact directly with customers and engineering personnel. 

Naval Tactical and Simulation Systems Operator Responsibilities Include:

• Being responsible for lab configurations

• Collecting Lab Data and responding to customer lab requests.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Six (6) years of Naval tactical and simulation systems Operations and Maintenance (O&M) experience

• Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance (at a minimum, must receive/be approved for an interim Secret security clearance in order to start) Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.

• Candidate must have experience with a tactical system and experience with Naval tactical and simulation systems.

• Candidate must have the ability to clearly communicate problems, provide recommendations, develop and lead the implementation of project plans.

• Must be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work independently without constant supervision.

• The ideal candidate will possess strong common sense and problem-solving skills, demonstrating the ability to take initiative and manage their own tasks effectively.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with Operation and Maintenance of TADIL systems.

• Experience with Operation and Maintenance of CEC systems.

• Experience with Operation and Maintenance of Tactical network systems.
