Across the globe, Lilly employees work to discover and bring life-changing medicines to those who need them, improve the understanding and management of disease, and give back to communities through philanthropy and volunteerism.
Role Overview:
The National Therapeutic Advisor (NTA) is a customer-facing, field-based role. This position requires close collaboration with a wider cross-functional team, both in the field and office, to lead and shape the success of a new Lilly medicine in Haematology, focusing on Mantle Cell Lymphoma (MCL) and Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia (CLL) indications.
The NTA will be pivotal in driving thought leader engagement, advocacy, and brand visibility, acting as a trusted partner to internal and external stakeholders. This role combines strategic business ownership, expert knowledge of the therapeutic landscape, and project management to ensure launch success and continued growth.
This is a unique opportunity to lead the launch of a transformative therapy in Haematology. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future of this medicine and making a meaningful impact on patient care in MCL and CLL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong partnerships with internal teams (Medical, Sales, Marketing and PRA) to deliver on strategic brand priorities and advocate for thought leader needs.
- Maintain a deep understanding of MCL and CLL, including disease states, product positioning, patient needs, and the competitive landscape.
- Partner with Medical teams to ensure seamless integration of customer-focused data and insights.
- Confidently apply key principles of value-based selling (VBS) and account-based strategies during customer interactions.
- Use tailored engagement techniques to connect with thought leaders, uncover opportunities, and position the medicine effectively.
- Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with thought leaders, identifying their influence within the broader haematology network.
- Promote omnichannel engagement opportunities to amplify the medicine's impact in the community.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan aligned with the national strategy, prioritizing thought leader relationships and impactful brand activities.
- Regularly monitor external healthcare trends to refine strategies and adapt business plans effectively.
Key Experience:
You’ll bring a winning mindset with strategic vision, someone who thrives on learning agility, adapting quickly to new information and evolving market dynamics. Showing resilience and determinations to overcoming challenges, paired with empathy to build trust and foster strong relationships with customers as colleagues.
- Previous experience in Haematology or Oncology is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated expertise in field-based engagement, project management, or strategic planning.
- Knowledge of MCL and CLL therapeutic areas or similar specialties.
- A proven track record of compliance and ethical decision-making in customer-facing roles.
