Job Summary
A Corrugated Specialist is responsible for effectively sourcing custom and non-custom corrugated products. This is done in conjunction with buyers, plant management, & salespeople from different facilities.
Is an expert in corrugated field as relates to corrugated cost drivers, works in high degree of creativity and latitude.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Identifies corrugated material sources to fit a wide range of custom and non-custom applications.

Develops and maintains a relationship with sales and sales management of key suppliers and demonstrates the ability and willingness to translate that relationship into revenue and sustainable program business.

Sources and aids in the procurement and design of corrugated products that meet or exceed the quality, service, and price requirements of the assigned facilities.

Provides current market levels and an accurate prediction for the future direction of the corrugated market.

Develops and maintains a clear understanding of the corrugated processes and products produced at those suppliers' facilities.

Gains and maintains an understanding of the manufacturing capabilities, customers, products, sales programs, competitors, and service needs for the facilities assigned.

Proactively offers relevant products to sales and plant management.

Helps develop and grow sales and margin by developing an effective working relationship with sales and management.

Ability to grow sales through collaboration with our sales teams.

Prepares various reports as required.

Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor degree in business or related discipline or equivalent industry experience is required.

Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in corrugated industry.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook, and other business software.

Working knowledge of corrugated pricing at the manufacturing, distribution, and customer pricing levels.

Working knowledge of market conditions and dynamics.

Working knowledge of corrugated custom styles and grades performance levels.

Preferred experience in POP displays and high graphics.
-
Preferred familiarity with Amtech software.
