The DNC seeks an experienced National Coordinated Campaign Director to lead the development and implementation of coordinated campaign efforts on behalf of the DNC across partners and states. This senior role will direct the integration of resources, strategy, and operations between national, state, and local Democratic campaigns to maximize electoral success in the states. This person will work closely with DNC leadership and cross-departmentally on targeting, implementation of voter contact programs, and in support of year-round organizing.
Key Responsibilities (Strategic Leadership):
- Implement national coordinated campaign strategy, development and implementation of coordinated campaign plans.
- Ability to coordinate across committees, elected leaders, candidates and state parties in support of electing Democrats up and down the ballot.
- Partner with Coalitions Director to build Coalition tables and to integrate national and state constituency organizations
- Work with DNC Political Director to implement organizing efforts in support of establishing a year-round organizing effort at the DNC
- Develop and build relationships with allied partners and organizations in support of developing increased communication and coordination.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of campaign management experience, including Coordinated Campaign management
- Work in multiple state campaigns
- Strong understanding of campaign finance and coordination rules
- Experience managing large budgets and diverse teams
- Excellence in coalition building and stakeholder management
- Deep knowledge of field operations and voter contact programs
Preferred Qualification
- Previous experience as Coordinated Campaign Director
- State Party experience or relationships.
- Knowledge of campaign data systems, targeting tools, and voter contact
- Understanding of battleground state dynamics and relationships
The starting salary for the National Coordinated Campaign Director position is $130,000 on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is a full-time, exempt position, that may require work on weekends, and has an end date of November 13, 2026.
Travel: The National Coordinated Campaign Director position will require travel, which could be up to 30-50% of the time.
Due to federal campaign finance rules, only U.S. citizens or U.S. green card holders are eligible for this role. See 52 U.S.C. 30121; 11 C.F.R. 110.20(i). This means that they are doing campaign and finance work, they cannot be a foreign national/visa holder, only U.S. citizens and Green card holders.
