National Account Executive - uShip Logistics
The Account Executive is a highly motivated, results-oriented sales professional responsible for aggressively seeking out and securing new shipping opportunities within the automotive space. This "hunter" role requires a strong focus on prospecting, lead generation, closing deals, and onboarding new partners to drive revenue growth and expand the company's market share.
New Business Development:
- Proactively prospect and qualify potential clients through cold calling, networking, and utilizing various lead generation strategies.
- Execute a strategic sales plan to target and acquire new accounts.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements and tailor effective logistics solutions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to high-volume targets
Client Relationship Management:
- Function as a strategic representative of the company, nurturing relationships with key account contacts and understanding their business goals.
- Establish strong initial relationships with clients and ensure a smooth transition to the National Account Manager who will manage daily account operations.
- Proactively address client concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner alongside the National Account Manager to foster long-term profitability.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling additional services.
Sales Performance:
- Achieve or exceed monthly sales and activity targets. Calls to a minimum of 30 new leads per day, resulting in 3 new opportunities per week and 2+ new accounts shipping per month.
- Maintain accurate sales and activity reports in CRM.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven Sales Success: Demonstrated track record of success in a hunter sales role, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport and influence others. Outstanding attention to detail.
- Self-Motivation and Drive: Highly motivated, self-starter with a strong work ethic and a competitive spirit. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Time Management and Hustle: Comfort with a high volume of cold outreach, including cold calling and emailing while maintaining timely lead and account followups. Able to effectively prioritize workload throughout the day and service support requests.
- Relationship Building: Ability to establish and nurture long-term relationships with partnership-level prospects, customers, and industry partners.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop creative solutions for client needs.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of vehicle shipping logistics, supply chain management, and transportation regulations is a plus.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field preferred, not required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales, with a focus on new business development.
- Experience using Salesforce or proficiency in other CRM tools preferred.

Compensation: $55,000 base with estimated $80,000+ OTE, monthly commissions and bonuses (Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. )
