This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual to become part of the Superior Retail Innovation & Execution (SRIE) team. As an SRIE analyst you will be the key resource for customer & category teams, providing analytics & insights support for Sales & Supply Chain leaders to drive P&G's in store execution program. This role will use both internal and customer POS data to enable a suite of innovative capabilities across availability, assortment & shelf orchestration. Your impact in data management and administration will contribute to the smooth functioning of these transformational capabilities. This is a meaningful role to deliver business results across all categories and customers.
Drive significant impacts by demonstrating analytical expertise, data and system knowledge, and business insight to answer and anticipate critical business questions and opportunities. Demonstrates use of data visualization (Tableau, Power BI, Excel), and analytic tools (Python, R, SQL, KNIME/Alteryx) to grasp the business insights from mountains of data. Collaborates with multi-functional teams to understand requirements and objectives to translate into significant visualizations to drive business decisions.

- Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills. Able to use technical and business knowledge across functions to solve problems and work through to resolution quickly and accurately.
- Solid aptitude for technical systems. Able to pick up on new technical concepts/solutions quickly. Experience with analytical/automation tools beyond Excel (Power BI, KNIME, Tableau, SQL, etc), or willingness to learn.
- Operates with discipline. Individual must be able to develop a plan, manage timelines, and execute. Able to set priorities for self and others as needed based upon understanding of the overall business strategies.
- Attention to detail and Customer-focused mentality. The output of this work will be highly visible. Customer-facing experience is a plus but not required.
- Great teammate and strong collaboration skills. Works well with a team environment and builds the team capabilities via share and reapply.
- Ability to train/mentor others. The continued development of skills and teaching of others is important to continue to innovate in this space.
Ideal candidates have:
- Experience in Data Visualization with Power BI
- Understanding of best data visualization practices with attention to UI/UX design
- Ability to effectively convey complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to demonstrate, translate, and communicate sophisticated data into simple conclusions and business actions.
- Good interpersonal skills including the ability to deliver a clear story to influence agreement to your recommendations with data and insights.
- Background in data management, data analytics, and data governance
