Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in the production of account pricing from manipulating raw data to running the appropriate RMS models.
- Respond to ad-hoc requests from Underwriters with respect to the impact of individual accounts on the Company’s risk appetite and RDS position.
- Provide feedback to underwriting teams on the quality of analysis to include the accuracy and completeness of data entry into the catastrophe model, pricing assumptions and reliability of the model.
- Develop technical expertise in using RMS to understand the impact that changing location specifics and policy T&Cs can make.
- Support the Multinational & Client Services Manager in the issuance of local policies and the generation of invoices across the European Starr Offices
- Support in the compliance reports and data gathering for Multinational Programmes
- Assist in the creation of Premium allocations for multinational programmes
- Ensure that all accounts are contract certain.
Experience
- Experience of slip and file construction.
Skills
- Competent level of mathematical ability.
- Fundamental understanding of the Lloyd’s and London Market.
- Exceptional telephone manner.
- Customer service and maintaining professional standards.
- Planning and organisational skills with proven experience of prioritising a conflicting workload.
- Strong communicator, both written and oral.
- High level of self-management.
Systems & IT
- MS Office - Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Underwriting Systems.
