· Public Affairs drives the strategy–setting, engagement, and activation of all external stakeholders who drive or influence the policies that determine our ability to successfully secure patient’s access to medicines and vaccines
· Identifies, assesses, engages, and activates external stakeholders to strategically manage public policy issues that impact business outcomes
· Develop the most favorable conditions for the access and the maintenance of our products on the market
· Ensure the accessibility of SANOFI products to the target patient population in a minimum time and at the optimal price throughout the commercial life.
· Drive Health care market analysis for future opportunities.

Key Accountabilities
· Analyze local market PA trends, issues, and environmental factors to anticipate opportunities and risks of importance to Sanofi business results develop plans, take appropriate actions, and provide feedback to the TA Global PA lead on those areas that need to be considered by the global PA strategy.
· Ensure/Drive market access & payers strategies with strong understanding of payers drivers, anticipation of payers objections, and deep knowledge of market access stakeholders for products.
· Collaborate with country and regional colleagues including other External Affairs functions, Medical, Compliance, Legal and other local colleagues to ensure integrated efforts to strategically manage Policy issues that impact Sanofi business outcomes.
· Develop Market Access & Public Affairs strategies to establish institutional and professional relations with authorities, key decision makers, universities, NGOs, PAGs at country level.
• Shape the healthcare environment, and manage policy and legislative changes via Industry Associations, nationally and internationally, to optimize and leverage pharma contribution to ensure growth and sustainability.
• Identify Public/Private Partnership opportunities, design and propose public/private partnerships that position the
company as a preferred partner and to build long term relations with decisions makers and the civil society (patient associations, NGO…).
• Implement the Corporate strategies and Co-creations with International Market Access Team.
• Lead interaction, engagement and communication for patient organizations, authorities and other stakeholders
(healthcare providers, universities…)
