POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Ensure timely and accurate communication to the help desk of newly identified problems or workarounds and fixes to existing problems
  • Identify gaps in the help desk knowledge base, ensure those gaps are filled; Communicate all new knowledge articles to the help desk.
  • Prepares, delivers and maintains appropriate documentation and deliverables for projects.
  • Oversight for, Cross department process improvement.
  • Facilitates planning meetings, process improvement by enabling operational decision-making
  • Ensures analysis and presentation documents are completed on schedule for various meetings throughout the project’s cycle.
  • Oversees projects and work plans and other essential functions to complete key projects and achieve key operational metrics
  • Oversight in key areas will include on-going data collection/reporting, project timelines, quarterly targets/goals, communication and strategies
  • Develops project plans, manages resource demands, and defines roles and responsibilities of key project participants.
  • Effectively utilizes and contributes to the ongoing refinement of the project management methodology
  • Monitors activity on projects and facilitates progress as necessary to meet timelines.
  • Develop and implement new help desk processes as required; Assist with the development and implementation of processes within other NCR departments; Continuously review existing help desk processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 years of related experience
  • Ability to work in a self-directed, proactive, aggressive, and fast paced, team-oriented environment
  • Excellent analyst skills
  • Project management, multi-tasking, organization
  • A strong technical background, knowledge and understanding of NCR and customer tools (IM Portal, RSBII, Gasper/Vision)
  • A general knowledge of and experience with leading software operating systems and personal computer hardware systems is required
