MongoDB Administrator

Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced MongoDB Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in MongoDB administration, particularly in Openshift environments, as well as robust Linux skills and knowledge of standard IT processes in large companies. Responsibilities:

• Support customers in infrastructure setup as the first technical contact.
• Implement and deploy MongoDB installations in an Openshift environment.
• Analyze issues in a standardized and automated environment.
• Maintain established standards and avoid customized solutions.
• Collaborate in a virtual and dynamic environment, primarily communicating in English.
• Translate business demands and requirements into technical solutions.
• Availability for weekend work and on-call duties when necessary.

Qualifications

Technical Requirements:

• Experience in MongoDB administration on an Openshift platform, including deployment, configuration, upgrades, and tuning. Experience with MongoDB Ops Manager is a plus.
• Linux administration experience, including hands-on work in networking, hardware, virtualization, containers, scripting, and IO subsystems.
• Knowledge of standard IT processes in large companies (e.g., ITIL).
• Experience with challenges in a high-security data center.
• Experience with cloud providers like AWS or Azure.
• Experience with containerization platforms like Openshift or Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience developing scripts to automate frequent tasks (preferably using Ansible, shell-scripting, and Python).
• Experience designing systems that handle large datasets and high transaction volumes.
• Experience in architecture and design reviews, performance audits, and database migrations.
• Experience with relational databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
