Modular Planners play a pivotal role in deploying the correct ranging decisions by store. Informed by insights they will create clustered specific ranges that are suitable and meet the needs of all our customers.

Range Analytics

Modular Planners will work closely with Commercial teams and the Channel Mangers to review and analyse range recommendations put forward and asses how they can best be deployed to meet the needs of our customers
Ranging Excellence

Reviewing ad hoc range deployment requests, including store queries, availability reviews or inventory queries that best align to overall strategy

Delivery against the agreed activity plan adhering to critical path timings

Work collaboratively with business units, customer teams and supply to ensure key milestones are achieved
Ranging Knowledge
-
Keep up to date with ranging insights, market trends latest training to deliver the best range deployment possible in line with the business strategy.
How you’ll do it:

Develop a close working relationship with our central commercial and modular planning teams, along with the Asda Express Chanel managers

Understand our customers and the different store format strategies

Work within the Framework and Guidelines set out with the Asda Express and wider Modular planning functions

Gain understanding and full utilisations of the Blue Yonder Modular Planning Software

Engage business teams to ensure the range deployment delivers against the scope set out for the activity
